Happy 9th Birthday (2nd attempt to post!)

Brian's sister Jodi (and her boyfriend Brian- confused yet?lol) came out from WA to drive the Z back for Brian's Dad (my father-in-law) who bought it.. Jodi came out first and then on Friday the 30th of June we went to pick her Brian up in Omaha. I took a few pics of them in Old Market District. They are absolutely adorable and it is fun to see "young love" (as in the new stages!) again...We loved Brian (he's a keeper Jo!)! Here is a pic of them:

Tristan had a Football Themed Birthday Party for his 9th B'day on July 2nd. Here he is running with the ball as the party opened up with a football game:

Here they are chasing down Trey with the ball- Tristan is on the far right-

Jodi and Brian stayed in with Jax and he watched through the porch window-lol-

Here is the cake I made for Tristan- and you can see the Seahawks paper and colored plates. We stamped some napkins (Jodi's idea- loved having a 2nd grade teacher help out!) which turned out sooo cute.

Here is the sun room- Tristan brought out all of his football decor from his room- it was pretty cute!!

Waiting for cake :

Happy Birthday Tristan!

Make a wish! (And hold your hands up to keep the other "blower-outers" away-lol- Who could resist blowing out 9 blue and green candles on a football cake??)

Tristan's friend Luke LOVES Jax and is a big helper as you can see!

Tristan with the Dykstra boys:

A water balloon fight- short and sweet! A laundry basket of balloons that didn't even make it off the deck!

Then we played "Tug-of-water" where you try to pull the other team into the sprinkler- they played that for a long time! It was pretty fun-

We got you now!!!

I don't think so!

Oh NO!!! We're getting pulled in!!!

Jodi's Brian reorganizes the teams...

After the game some opted to play with the new water guns:

While others were content to play in the sprinkler- right, Micah?

The boys got used to Tristan's Mom playing with the camera all day. Here is another pic of Luke. I work with his Mom and think she would like to have this:

Time to cool off with a Popsicle before going home:
