Happy Thanksgiving!

I must apologize for being so behind on posting. I did want to post a few pics of Gracie from the big day...I wasn't very good with taking pics that day- and there aren't many- but a few of them were cute so I wanted to post those. I will be doing some fun pics for Jamie & Company next week (hopefully Sunday or Tuesday) so then will have some more to post-

The star of the show....

Wait...wasn't it this little turkey? lol-

She really was fine until I got the camera out- (ps- slow shutter speed + crying baby= BLUR!)

The view from J&J's living room- if you look way out there - there were about 5 or 6 white-tail deer playing in the woods there- so cute!

The best place to be- Mommy's arms...awww....

Here are 3 generations for ya-

Another of Mommy and Gracie... -(Or Baby Gaycee as Jax calls her-lol)

That's it for the Thanksgiving pics - below are a few pics I did for my good friend and next-door neighbor Dawn- her Daughter Hannah turned 10 this year and we did some pics on 2 separate days- sme in my sunroom studio and the others out in Dawn's yard...
Dawn is such a great friend and helps me out in so many ways- I am so blessed to have her! So I try to repay her by taking her kiddo's pics- I've done them a few times since we've moved here.

In my niece Kaylee's "Eskimo coat"- I thought it would be darling with the evergreen and it was!

Happy Halloween!!

Tonight we had Trick-or-Treating in OC b/c tomorrow is Wednesday and
that is the night we have church activities, so they held Halloween tonight instead (:
Ellie and Jamie came up and brought us McDonald's and then we went out on the town.
This was Jax's first year Trick-or-Treating and he kept going inside the people's houses when they would open the doors-lol! We had to put him in the stroller after the first few houses- he still had fun though-

Kendall's visit Iowa

On Wednesday the 29th my Dad, Kim, & Alex and my Dad's parents, "Grams and Gramps" Kendall visited. They stayed until Tuesday the 4th and we had a WONDERFUL time!
It was so much fun to have everyone here. I wanted to share a bunch of pics that we got- from all of our cameras- Enjoy!
Here is our house:

Thursday Morning- first day here:

Gramps:

My Daddy and his Daddy, and the happy couple:

Grandma Kim, Ellie and Jax:

Later Thursday morning, Jamie took the family (Jax and I stayed home) to see their new place in Dakota Dunes, about an hour from here- On a gorgeous Golf course (that's the rental can, btw). Jax and I met them at Starbuck's in Sioux City afterwards for coffee, and then the boys headed home and Grams, Kim and I went shopping...

I had to work Friday, so I took the fam in and showed them around - of course they had to take some pics:

Saturday morning before going to the dairy site (Alex and Tristan were with Brian at the site, riding four-wheeler and working hard as helpers):

Gramma in the guest room- I really need to post a pic of the other wall, which I covered with fabric and made a giant memo board with fabric and ribbon:

Sunday we all went to church- it was great and we even had an all-church BBQ for lunch! Then we went to the park in Maurice for some pics:

Alex (I took these):

Jax:

Here are his "2 year pics" (actually 2 1/2 now-lol) finally- I will be sending them out soon:

Gramps at the Maurice Veteran's Memorial:

Monday we had a "Labor Day Luau"- bringing Hawaii, my G&G's favorite place, here to Iowa.
Early in the morning I heard music in Jax's room and went in and G&G were dancing with him- Unfortunately you can't see Jax in these as he saw the camera and bolted-lol:

While I was out getting some last minute things, they rest of the family walked to Kinderspeelund Park:

Back home, Grams tries out the workout equipment in the basement:

Ellie (aka Hula girl):

The kids helped with decorating- Alex did a lot (including the display below which was by the food- Hawaiian pulled pork, cabbage salad, mandarin orange salad, and pineapple upside down cake. Of course we had some tropical drinks too- so fun!

Down-time after stuffing ourselves full of great food:

Jax on Tuesday morning- Dad brought the bed he had made for Alex (which Tristan used as well) up and set it up in his room- I took the crib down later that day- He is doing great in his new bed!

The End....
